CORE Gaming Mobile Casinos
When CORE Gaming acquired UK-based Betlow, Ltd. in 2011 it embarked on a long-term mission to design and disseminate branded and original content for both land-based and online operators. At the time Betlow and founder Justin Chamberlain had brought more than 50 online games to players since its inception in 2008, including such hits as Hold’Em or Fold’Em, and had partnered with distributors like GTS, CryptoLogic, Australia’s Lightening Box Games, and OpenBet. Chamberlain became the Chief Executive Officer at CORE Gaming.
CORE tied its star to their development of an efficient, flexible and adaptable HTML 5 framework that produces user-friendly gambling games across all mobile devices, operating systems and browsers. With both its land-based and web-based teams aligned CORE was ready to take aim at multiple platform integration.
CORE Gaming’s first foray into proprietary branded gaming came in 2012 when it signed an agreement with the estate of stuntman Evel Knievel for a five-year window of exclusivity to develop games based on the daredevil’s 243 broken bones-filled career. The first mobile 50-line slots game arrived on the market in May of 2013. Evel Knievel was one of 18 games CORE saw go live in 2013 with such partners as Blueprint Gaming, SC Gaming and Ash Gaming.

To date most of CORE Gaming’s mobile offerings have been partnerships with other developers. The launching of the mobile- and tablet-optimized Evel Knievel sees the company looking down a different road. As Kelly Knievel, daughter of the great showman said at the time of the announcement, “You know, my dad was a gambler his whole life. He used to say the only people worth hearing about were people who took risks.”
