Samurai vs Zombies Mobile Slot Review (Probability)

Zombies have emerged as the challenger to vampires as the monsters we love best but the undead have walked among us for only a relatively short time. They owe their existence, shall we say, to a low-budget movie filmed around Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by George Romero in the 1960s called Night of the Living Dead. In less than 50 years the undead seem like they have been with us forever and in this mobile slots game Probability has dispatched a team of Samurai warriors to do battle with the vacant-eyed brain eaters.

Samurai v Zombies is a five-reel mobile slots game with 50 paylines. You can summon the battle with only 0.01 units and wager as much as 1.00 coin on the outcome up to a maximum play of 50.00 coins. There is no progressive jackpot to be fought over but the in-game jackpots are certainly worth raising a sword over. An Auto Spin option is available to tap to keep the combatants engaged in a steady whirl of gore and blood.

Theme

Samurai vs Zombies would seem to promise non-stop engagement and action as the legendary Oriental mercenaries bring to bear all their skills upon the relentless devourers of soft human flesh. But there is only one Zombie on the loose here and he seems to be just an excuse to spend some time in the company of Japanese culture. In fact he only looks like a Zombie – it is actually more reminiscent of a 1964 Japanese horror movie called Onibaba about mask-wearing assailants. So we get the Samurai Katana but we also get chopsticks and a chunk of sushi. We get armoured helmets but we also get garden lanterns. We get a Samurai warrior and a peasant rice farmer. And so on. There is not really a Zombie infestation here at all. Oh well, everything is well-drawn and Samurai vs Zombies looks great in HD.

Features

The representation of the mythological Japanese warrior Nobusuma is the game’s biggest payer, returning 3000X your bet if five amass across an active payline. Many of the icons will begin paying with only two lined up from left to right so your bank will stay active.

The ferocious Samurai Warrior is the Wild, always on guard to take the place of any other symbol where needed to make winning combinations. He is a mean fellow though so there will be no multiplying of prizes and he will not bring any coins for just showing up on the reels.

The horn-masked assailant is the scatter and if he forms a gang of three, four or five on the reels you will be inducted as an accomplice and rewarded with six free spins, eight free spins or ten free spins. The free games can be re-triggered and all prizes won during the bonus play are doubled. it is almost enough to make you forget there are no Zombies in Samurai vs Zombies.
