The Da Vinci Diamonds mobile slot is brought to you by design giants IGT and is based, believe it or not, around the work of Da Vinci. It’s a theme that’s defiantly something we haven’t seen before, although we cant imagine that Da Vinci himself will be too pleased with these reproductions of some of his most famous paintings.
IGT have offered up a very solid 5 reel, 20 payline game here and we were impressed to find it full of features. These include free spins, multipliers, wilds, scatters and even a pretty decent bonus game.
Theme
The theme is definitely an interesting one as Da Vinci is something that you wouldn’t really think would be associated into the world of mobile slots. But, having said that, we have definitely seen far stranger in the industry!
We liked the fact that it followed some of his most iconic pieces, including the Mona Lisa, but also didn’t just sub in the letters and numbers that a lot of slot games seem to fill out their games with. Props must go to IGT for this.
Features
The gamble includes the tumble feature, which IGT have actually implemented –successfully – into a number of their other slot. This basically means that when you manage to hit a successful payline, the icons will be removed and substituted in for new ones, giving you even more chances of winnings. Interestingly, in these other games we have seen multipliers added to these, but Da Vinci Diamonds does not include this.
The game includes a pretty standard wild symbol which in turn will substitute itself in to many winning combinations. These can be used in conjunction with the tumble feature but won’t sub your free spins symbols.
The free spins feature is pretty much where you will be wanting to spend the majority of your time on the game. It’s the bonus icon that you need to be on the lookout for and to get in, you need to pick up three these on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd reel. This will get you into the initial game and give you 6 free spins to start with. Additional free spins can be made from within the game by claiming the same number of bonus icons.
It’s worth noting that the more of these symbols that you pick the potential for more free spins increase. 5 will get 6,8,10,12 or 15 spins; 4 gets you 4, 6, 8 r 10 and 3 gets you 2, 3 or 4 additional spins. It appears to be pretty random as to how many you will pick up each time but note that the amount is capped at 300 spins from within this feature.
